There is a huge difference between selecting a career for yourself and just a job.
A job is nothing but getting pay for doing something either you like it or not but career is totally a different thing either you take it in the way of your thinking or taking money for something you are doing.
Career is something which you are doing for so long and you will always like to do that work.
It is a long term planning.You realise that what you are doing is of real worth .You start making decisions for that.
So never think of just taking a job but think of making your career.
By making your career you can achieve long term goals and a secure future if you really are passionate towards making one.

Well said Arun. This is a great though and most of us just miss that in our everyday live. Most of us are doing what we may not like to do, given the option. Option, is something which we crave for and lack in our life.
ReplyDeleteBefore getting in to do something, we must ask ourselves a question. "Given the options, shall I do that?" and you can get the answer.
You will definitely get thousands of reasons for doing something. But you need to find just 3 reasons for not doing the same thing, before finalizing your decision and that will lead you to the right path.

Well,Career is interpreted differently by different people and there may be some common views that people may share.
ReplyDeleteThough It make sense to make your career in something that you like to do instead of working on something that you dont like, question is how many people really look forward to really considering building their career based on their interests/likes rather than monetary terms ? Well , not many indeed !!
Wondering about what would happen if I leave the work who is paying me 10 times more and chose the one that interest me more , most people spend their lives in frustration and money hunting. Sometimes we need to make a choice between chosing money or chosing interest. I am not denying that people interest may lead them to pinnacle but you have to have guts to encompass the obvious fear or loss that you may encounter when you chose your interest.
Nevertheless, sharing ideas and thoughts by bringing people together is a great way to know and judge what you want from your life, otherwise money is like a vicious circle that definitely do not let you decide your priorities.
